Rajesh Khanna’s live-in partner Anita Advani is asking uncomfortable questions to Rajesh Khanna’s family. Anita Advani claims that she lived with Rajesh Khanna for the past ten years. But when he fell ill things started to change for her.

Anita Advani shot to fame after Rajesh Khanna’s death. She has sent legal notice to Rajesh Khanna not to evict her from his house. But later on she clarified that she is not interested in Rajesh Khanna’s money or property. Anita Advani told media, “I want Aashirwad to be made a museum. The allegations against me are wrong; I have no greed or interest in this property. This property should go to the people of the country and be made a museum.”

Rajesh Khanna was estranged from his wife Dimple. They were living separately for decades. Dimply had moved out from Rajesh Khanna’s house to make her marks in films taking with her their two daughters. BUt the couple was not divorced legally. During Rajesh Khanna’s later days, Dimple was a constant fixture in his house. Anita Advani has some questions for his family, “Even the day he was cremated, Akshay did not let me climb on the truck with his body. He said, ‘Anitaji, yeh sirf family ke liye hai.’ Where were they for the last 10 years? Just by having a piece of paper, you don’t become family. I have nurtured and loved him for 10 years. Just because I don’t have a piece of paper, I am not family?”

She also thinks if Rajesh Khanna was shunning her during his last days, the family has a role to play, “His family treated me really badly and did not let me see him. I’m not sure if they took advantage of him being so weak, but I can’t understand how a person can be something one day and then turn 180 degrees the next.”

Turn of the events are making Anita Advani feel bad. She expressed her feeling saying, “He and I were in a relationship. I gave 10 years of my life to him and never asked for anything. But now, when everyone turned against me, I am devastated. I feel stripped.”
