Kiran Bedi Denies Contacting Poonam Pandey

Kiran Bedi says she never asked Poonam Pandey to join Team Anna.
Team Anna member Kiran Bedi has denied the claims made by Poonam Pandey that the former police officer contacted her to join team Anna. Reacting on the claims by Poonam that she was contacted to join the self-acclaimed anti-corruption team, Kiran Bedi said, “I don’t know what she (Poonam) is talking about.”
Poonam Pandey had earlier claimed that Kiran had asked her to join Team Anna and help the team in raising their demand to get an anti-corruption Lokpal law passed in parliament.
This is not the first time Poonam Pandey has got into such a controversy. Earlier, her claims that she has been approached by the Bhatt camp for a film, also got refuted.
The Anna camp is also not the same as it was when it initially came to light last year. The media has scrutinized its operations from every angle and the image of the team has got a severe beating. Getting associated with someone like Poonam Pandey is the last thing they would want at the moment.
